Scheduling Surgery
When it comes to children, every surgery deserves careful attention from a dedicated pediatric team. Both Dr. Andy Sipp and Dr. Benjamin White work with exclusively pediatric-trained anesthesiologists and nurses to provide quality care to our patients.
Determining if a child needs surgery is a careful process. It is important to perform an exam and explore all the options by coming in for a visit before scheduling surgery.
What to know
After your child is seen in our office, you will receive a card with the phone number to reach our wonderful surgery scheduler, Shannon Mayer. She will pull up the information from your child’s visit and talk you through the logistics, the availability, and what to expect in the days before surgery.
Planning a surgery can involve many moving parts; Shannon takes pride in making this process as easy as possible. That said, we know that life happens. If, for any reason, you need to reschedule or cancel your child’s surgery, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a $250 rescheduling fee.
